Shipping & Delivery

  • Q: How long will it take to receive my order?

  • A: Since every piece is hand-finished, please allow 1-3 business days for us to inspect and pack your order. Once shipped, standard delivery to the US typically takes 7-15 business days. You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as it leaves our studio.

  • Q: Where do you ship from?

  • A: We ship directly from our workshop in Dehua, Fujian—the historic capital of ceramics and stone carving. By shipping from the source, we ensure authenticity and minimize unnecessary warehousing.

  • Q: Will the stone break during shipping?

  • A: It is extremely rare. Unlike fragile porcelain, Green Sandstone is solid rock and very durable. Plus, we use professional shock-resistant packaging. If it does arrive damaged, simply email us a photo, and we will send a replacement immediately.

  • Q: What is “Green Sandstone”?

  • A: It is a premium natural semi-precious stone known for its unique “bean green” color and porous texture. Unlike resin or plastic, it is alive. When you pour tea or water over it, it absorbs the moisture and changes color instantly, becoming darker and glossier.

  • Q: How do I maintain my Tea Pet / Statue?

  • A: Simple. Just rinse it with water or tea. Do not use soap or chemicals, as the porous stone will absorb them. Over time, tea pets nurtured with tea will develop a unique, vintage patina.

  • Q: Is every piece exactly the same?

  • A: No. Since they are carved from natural stone and finished by hand, slight variations in grain and texture are part of their unique charm. Your piece is 1 of 1.

  • Q: What if I don’t like it when it arrives?

  • A: We want you to be happy. If you feel the piece isn’t right for you, please contact us at Hello@buluba.life within 30 days of receiving it. We will work with you to find a solution.
